Before our intervention, Akotika’s marketing relied on low-quality GIFs and generic visuals that failed to capture the hotel’s luxurious ambiance. This outdated approach overlooked the essence of Akotika’s unique charm.

We revamped Akotika’s digital presence by integrating a comprehensive creative overhaul with targeted campaign changes:

Creative Overhaul:

  • Replaced static ads with engaging UGC-style videos featuring real guests and influencers.
  • Updated messaging with refined copy, such as “The most romantic Hotel in Acco,” and timely offers like “Sukkot Sale! All suites from 1,170 ILS (24H).”

Campaign Adjustments:

  • Optimized Facebook targeting by shifting from broad, high-frequency audiences to segmented, interest-based groups.
  • Redesigned Google Ads campaigns with redefined keywords to improve click-through rates and lower cost-per-click.

War Response & Post-War Strategy

When the Gaza war disrupted the market, we quickly adjusted our strategy:

During the Crisis:

  • Shifted focus to short-term bookings by reducing CPAs.
  • Introduced targeted discounts: 50% off for reservists and security forces, and 40% off for everyone else.

After Stability Returned:

  • Returned to a high-quality UGC approach by partnering with influencers and encouraging social media users to share their experiences.
  • Built a rich creative bank to support ongoing monthly sales and midweek discount promotions.

INCREASED Bookings

Increased from 4 per day in August (ROAS at 1500%) to 8 per day in December (ROAS nearly 3000%), and reached 12 per day in January 2024.
